The Enterprise Engineering Standards are the result of international industry experts and academic consensus.
The standards are both agnostic and vendor neutral and are built on repeatable patterns that can be reused and replicated, and thereby implemented by any organization, both large and small, regardless of its various enterprise engineering activities.
We realize that organizations apply various engineering methods and approaches e.g. planning, design, testing, QA and value audit, etc. That’s why we have ensured that all of our published Enterprise Engineering Standards have a structured Way of Thinking, Working, Modelling, Implementing and Governing.
To ensure full integration with other methods and approaches within an organization, the enterprise engineering standards have an ontology and semantic concept built in that allows for the meta objects to be reused in the other enterprise standards as well as the industry standards.
This includes applying the various standards:
- Engineering Principles – how and where it can or needs to be decomposed and composed together.
- Modelling Principles – which design concepts can or should be applied.
- Architecture Principles – which architecture rules apply and which artifacts and templates could or should be applied.
Creating the ability to “Align, Compare & Unify” different enterprise standards together as well as combine them with the industry standards (or vice versa) in combining the relevant aspect e.g. meta objects.
